Birth of a New One

For the past year I've been writing about Chuck Berry on http://goheadon.blogspot.com. I've enjoyed it, but I've also enjoyed moving in other directions. I wrote about his sidemen. I wrote about his influences. I wrote about his influence. I wrote about his friends and his fans. Every now and then I'd write about something or someone completely different-- Sonny Rollins, or Pinetop Perkins, or Bob Margolin. And every now and then I'd see something wonderful that I'd love to share but that I couldn't do on a Chuck Berry blog. So here goes. I'm ignorant as hell-- but that doesn't stop me!
