To have him as a mentor and be one of his musicians and his friend, has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Chuck is one of the few musicians of his contemporaries from the 1950s who was able to parlay his art into wealth and financial stability. This is due to his astute business sense, his regard for money and the manner in which he demands it how he handles it. All musicians should take a course from the Chuck Berry School of Business if they want to be successful. There are a couple of jokes about musicians that are just as true as they are funny. What do you call a musician without a girlfriend? Homeless. How does a musician make a million dollars? He starts with 2 million dollars. These apply to the vast majority of musicians, but certainly not to Chuck Berry. He invented a genre of music and has definitely managed to make a wealthy living from it. His wealth will continue to grow even if he were to never pluck another string on his guitar, just from royalties and having his financial business in place. I am a fulltime musician and have no complaints about him whatsoever and live comfortably as a result of what I've learned from Chuck Berry Business 101.

Daryl DavisAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11363213509690352176noreply@blogger.com
